Pour a thin layer of boiling water over the shaving soap and let it sit for a few minutes.

Soak the shaving brush (preferably with badger hair), once it is well wrung out, pour all the water covering the soap into the bristles of the brush, and then start loading (20-30 seconds). It is then whipped on the face or in a bowl without adding any more water.
