The American fragrance house Le Labo was founded in 2006 by Fabrice Penot and Edouard Roschi and it’s a New Youk based Estée Lauder company. Le Labo is French for “the laboratory”, because that’s where all the magic happens.
What makes Le Labo special is the special attention they pay to their perfumes - each one is hand-blend and bottled in-store, labeled with the creation date and the location. They even allow customers to inscribe names or personal messages on the labels.
The Le Labo’s perfumes are named with the main ingredient as the name - santal, rose, ylang, basil, etc, and the quantity of other notes. The most famous are Santal 33 and Rose 31
