Proenza Schouler is a New York-based fashion house launched in 2002 by designers Jack McCollough and Lazaro Hernandez. The brand’s first collection was a result of the duo’s collaborative efforts for their senior thesis at the Parsons School of Design. It was bought in its entirety by Barneys New York. Following their initial success, the label has won multiple awards across the years including the inaugural CFDA Vogue Fashion Fund Award, Swarovski Award for Ready-to-Wear, Accessory Designer of the Year and the Womenswear Designer of the Year. What makes Proenza Schouler a leading talent in the industry is their use of fine luxury materials consistently infused with a sense of effortlessness and ease. The ideal Proenza Schouler woman appreciates these qualities as they fit right into her urban lifestyle.
