Terres Blondes is inspired by Mesa Verde, a stone city perched among the desert plateaus of Colorado. As its founders and first inhabitants, the Native American people of the area knew how to both tame its hostile ochre landscape in summer and transform it into a shelter in winter. They opened in 1961 at 34 Boulevard Saint-Germain in the 5th arrondissement of Paris as a concept store where they sold items, like Indian incense burners, Lorraine glassware, Bistro sugar holders and more.
