Fresh yet mysterious, Frédéric Malle’s Synthetic Jungle is a surreal landscape of technicolor greens. This ode to cult perfumes of the 1970s is composed by Anne Flipo, opening with basil and a bouquet of flowers. These botanical notes are modernized and brightened with a synthetic black currant and styralyl acetate – rinsed through a glossy, sparkling filter. Simplified chypre and leather notes result in a clean, streamlined accord finished with patchouli.
