THE OBJECT
L'Estompeur de precision is an eye make-up brush designed by Gregoris Pyrpylis, Creative Director of Hermès Beauty. It smudges color across the eyelid and highlights the lash line, for a precise yet soft effect. Its three-tone lacquered wooden handle is easy to grip. The mixed synthetic and goat hair fibers are assembled by hand by a French brushmaker.
THE GESTURE
The round-tipped brush is perfect for the targeted application of color.
It is ideal for blending an eye pencil line, smudging the product outwards to elongate the eye shape. The brush can also be used to intensify a line of powder from the Ombres d'Hermès quartet of eyeshadows on the lower or upper lash line, for a smoky effect.
As a finishing touch, it can be used to add a touch of light to the inner corner of the eye.
LES PINCEAUX HERMÈS
Designed by Pierre Hardy, Les pinceaux Hermès form a collection in their own right of brushes for the complexion, the eyes, and the lips. Each is protected by an orange box, a House signature.
Hermès is the name of a house, but it is first and foremost the name of a family which, from generation to generation, has been writing the story of a Parisian company founded on know-how and quality, tradition and innovation, since 1837. An independent family house, Hermès creates, produces and sells beautiful, useful and sustainable objects. Hermès today applies its creativity to sixteen métiers. Its principles of high standards and authenticity, elegance and sobriety, imagination and boldness characterize all of its creations.
