As the name suggests, this perfume is truly liquid gold. As rare and precious as the metal itself, it arrives in a limited-edition batch. Part of the Liquides Imaginaires Alchemy trilogy, it’s inspired by the metal's brilliant, luminous warm light.

Potent and comforting, sweet and spicy, the fragrance belongs to the category of fruity-amber fragrances and has a prominent saffron character.

Liquides Imaginaires are an olfactive conception of designer Philippe Di Méo, presented during his 2011 exhibition at La Maisondes Champs-Elysées. If perfume was used in ancient times to communicate to the gods “through the smoke” (lat. per fumum), its contemporary incarnation is deeply symbolic :allowing humans to pass from material to immaterial worlds, from the solid to the liquid, from the visible to the invisible.
